We, the Community of GCC, welcome you to your new Masjid for its first ever Ramadan. We have Imam Muhammad and Imam Saeed leading Taraweeh prayers so we can enjoy the beauty of Quran in the blessed nights of Ramadan. Taraweeh will be starting on Sunday night – May 5, 2019 and will end on Monday night – June 3, 2019 according to ISNA calculation.

We will be starting Salat ul Isha promptly five minutes after the beginning of the Salat time. We will have twenty Taraweeh and will finish in appx an hour and 15 minutes including Witr, In Sha Allah. Week-End salat will be minimally longer but not bit different than regular nights. We will have a small break after every four taraweeh and we will be finishing the Quran on the 27th night In Sha Allah. Though Quran will be finished during the Taraweeh prayers but there will be additional Quran recitation during Qiyam ul Lail in the last ten ( Nine ) nights before Fajr for appx 60-75 minutes and another Quran will be started. We have arrangements for those brothers who will be sitting for Aitakaaf in the last ten days and would appreciate if we can get the names to make sure that we have arrangements for Iftar and Sahur. We have an area for sisters with little children with some toys / crayons in the women side where they will be able to pray and listen to Quran. Women entrance will only be open during Isha and Taraweeh prayers.

We are finishing the Decel lane and though there may be some outside construction during first few days of Ramadan but driving in and out will not be affected and we are already in the very final phase with finished parking lot.We have additional parking available at close-by places and any of the BOT will be available to help you in providing more information if there is any need. We have police available during Taraweeh times and we have additional security measures during prayers including but not limited to the extra police patrolling. We will be happy to tell you the additional measures on individual enquiry. Community potluck will be on every Saturday and we welcome new families who have moved in this area with many more who are building the houses. We welcome you all.

Br. Ibrahim Omar will be running a Quran Tajweed program especially tailored to the needs of the youth or any age group who would like to work on the Tajweed rules. It will be running from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM PM daily.
