History Of Geist Community Center
4/14/2018 – First Adhan at Geist Community Center (under construction) Alhamdulillah.
4/10/2018 – Finally, the weather has provided an open window for building foundation work to occur.
1/4/2018 – Building plan was officially approved by City of Fishers. All required permits have been received.
12/20/2017 – See construction pics.
12/6/2017 – First Day of Construction Alhamdulillah.
12/6/2017 – Site plan was officially approved by City of Fishers for construction of Community Center.
11/15/2017 – Construction contracts were signed.
9/20/2017 – Bylaws of GCC were signed.
6/2/2017 – Site plan was submitted to City of Fishers for review and approval.
5/28/2017 – Successful Fund Raising Event.
5/10/2017 – Lease agreement was signed to rent/buy land from the landowners. No rent for 10 years and GCC has the option to buy the land anytime!!!
5/1/2017 – We have hired a civil engineer and will be applying for construction permits by 5/31/2017.
4/30/2017 – Floor plan was finalized.
3/25/2017 – We have hired an architect to design the Geist Community Center.
3/15/2017 – Received confirmation from Fishers planning department to build a community center / Mosque.
